Also in 2020, the series of serenade concerts of the Province of Lower Austria will make a guest appearance with an exquisite chamber music program in Arnold Schönberg’s Mödling residence. Not only Schönberg himself will be remembered, but also regent of the year, Ludwig van Beethoven, who spent the summer months of 1818 to 1820 in Mödling. Schönberg’s late-Romantic piano songs are heard alongside arrangements of folk songs by the Viennese classicist. The string trios of both composers are each in their own way milestones in the history of the genre!

Concert as part of the serenade concerts of the province of Lower Austria at music historical sites | In cooperation with moving beethoven
